KING STREET BOOK CLUB – ROHAN WILSON
Come along to the King Street Book Club and join our discussion of Rohan Wilson’s Daughter of Bad Times. A suspenseful, truthful and compelling novel from the critically acclaimed author of The Roving Party.
This month Rohan Wilson will join our discussion of his new novel, Daughter of Bad Times. We’ll begin with Rohan in-conversation with Avid Reader’s Jennifer Stephens and open up to a book club discussion. It will be a very special opportunity to gain insights into Rohan’s writing process and discover his perspectives on the novel.
The book, conversation, and a glass of wine are all included in your book club ticket, at $30 per person.
Thanks to Rydges, our meeting will be held in the Rydges Fortitude Valley – VIP Room and nibbles will be served.
Current Book Club members will collect their book at our May meeting and we’ll contact new members to arrange collection from King Street, Bowen Hills.
“It’s impossible not to consider, as you read Daughter of Bad Times, that everything in 2075 is already here now and we are doing nothing to stop it. An utterly compelling vision by one of our finest writers.” Heather Rose, bestselling author of The Museum of Modern Love
